.synopsis...a high pressure, averaging 30.40 inches, will move
across the western great lakes today bringing north to northeast
winds to the central great lakes. this high pressure will slowly
drift directly over the central great lakes over the course of
the weekend bringing quiet marine conditions.

occasionally be encountered.

.synopsis... 

breezy north to northeast winds are expected into today, with
elevated waves over the southern portions of the lake. high 
pressure of 30.4 inches will slowly move from northern minnesota 
to northern lake michigan today and tonight. the high will then 
move across southeast canada through the weekend, with modest 
south to southeast winds developing over lake michigan saturday 
into saturday night. 

gusty south to southeast winds are then forecast sunday into 
sunday night, becoming south to southwest into early next week.
waves should build during this period over the northern and
central portions of the lake.

.synopsis...high pressure of 30.4 inches centered along the 
minnesota-manitoba border will move southeast, settling over the 
western great lakes region on friday. as the high builds to 30.6 
inches while shifting to southern quebec over the weekend, it will
extend a 30.4 inch ridge back across the southern great lakes. 
meanwhile, a 29.5 inch low pressure developing over eastern 
montana saturday afternoon will lift into southern saskatchewan on
sunday. monday and tuesday, the high over southern quebec will 
weaken to 30.3 inches as it settles to the central appalachians 
while the low pressure over southern saskatchewan tracks to hudson
bay.
